Journal

Published annually, the Journal provides articles and book reviews on Australian Catholic history as well as a brief record of Society activities over a year.

Articles and book reviews may be submitted for publication. They should relate to aspects within the broad spectrum of Australian Catholic history. Articles accepted for the Journal generally have not been previously published. They should be factual and based on research; a paper based on a thesis would be appropriate. They could include papers delivered to the Society. Lengths should be no more than 5000 words per article and 600 words for a book review. A Journal Style Guide is available from the Journal Editor and also on this website.

Articles will be refereed anonymously by two independent referees, if the author so requests, and referees' evaluations made available to the author. Journal articles from 1963 are indexed in APAIS, with full texts of articles from 1996 available on APA-FT (both services provided by the National Library of Australia).
